Queenswood is now seeking to appoint a Director of Marketing and Admissions reporting to the School’s Principal. The job holder will be responsible for delivering a strategic communications and reputation building programme. The job holder will have ownership and responsibility for all corporate communications; PR, media relations, digital presence and profile. As well as ‘leading by example’ this is a key leadership role, managing direct reports in a cohesive, coordinated marketing team and supporting them to ensure clear, positive, consistent School communications both locally and nationally with support from the School’s Senior Leadership Team.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the successful candidate will contribute at a strategic level, and lead a team that ensures our Marketing and Admissions are first rate.

Educated to Degree level, applicants will have significant experience in a marketing role encompassing PR and communications.

Queenswood is a progressive boarding and day school for around 480 girls, aged between 11 and 18, where boarders make up more than half of the School. An all round education focuses on equipping the girls with all the life skills required of women in the 21st century. Within a caring and supportive framework, the girls enjoy a dynamic academic curriculum, supported by a diverse and exciting extra-curricular programme.

Day girls are fully integrated within the houses, are able to enjoy all the facilities and opportunities available to the boarders, but choose to go home at night after a packed school day. There is a flexible approach to boarding to meet the varying needs of individual families; girls may choose to be full boarders or just to remain in School for four or five nights a week.
