Worth School is an independent Catholic Benedictine Boarding and Day School for pupils aged 11 – 18, set in a rural location near Turners Hill, West Sussex. 

(40 hours per week, 40 weeks) 

Salary: £34,663 

We are currently seeking to appoint a Director of Mission to join us at Worth. This is an exciting role, and one that goes to the heart of the school. The Director of Mission will be tasked with advising the Head Master and Senior Leadership Team on aspects of Catholic and Benedictine School Mission, specifically advising on ways the School’s strategy can be informed and inspired by its Catholic identity and Benedictine charism. 

The successful candidate will:   

  • have detailed knowledge of Church teaching   
  • be skilled and confident in leading Christian prayer and reflection   
  • be experienced in organising school mission work will have a clear understanding of how to implement an excellent safeguarding culture in a faith context   
  • be proficient in the use of IT, in particular Microsoft Office and the Google Suite
