Walhampton is an independent preparatory day and boarding school for 370 boys and girls aged 2-13. The school lies in beautiful ancient woodland on the southern edge of the New Forest near Lymington in Hampshire.

We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational individual to lead the school's Music department and deliver a curriculum that is exciting and innovative. The successful candidate will ensure that the provision of Music across the school is outstanding and everyone is engaged positively in learning.

You will be a dedicated and experienced teacher with the ability to plan a diverse and exciting music programme to positively enhance the general musical direction of the school. You will be responsible for teaching Music from Nursery to Year 8 as well as the management of the school's peripatetic staff.
