Director of Music

This vacancy with suit an enthusiastic, dynamic, well-qualified person, with a passion for teaching curriculum music lessons, leading choirs and ensembles, organising a busy programme of musical events and overseeing a committed team of peripatetic teachers.

St. Helen's College is a thriving, forward-thinking yet traditional IAPS Prep School with a strong family ethos and an excellent reputation. Our last inspection report rated the school 'excellent' or 'outstanding' in every category.

The successful applicant will be an exemplary classroom practitioner and musician, with excellent ICT, interpersonal and team-working skills and a strong interest in pastoral care. The ability to teach other subjects would be an advantage but is not essential.

The school is committed to safeguarding and an Enhanced DBS check will take place prior to appointment.
