ICS is looking to appoint a Director of Music to join our young, cohesive and friendly team from August 2018. This is an exciting, new position, with strategic and operational oversight of curricular and extra-curricular music across both Primary and Secondary schools. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and lead a broad, deep and popular extra-curricular and peripatetic programme, whilst also leading a small team of specialist music teachers. They will also be responsible for ensuring outstanding curriculum, pedagogy and practice in the music classroom, exemplifying this in their own teaching, both at IGCSE and across the age and ability range.
