West Norfolk Academies Trust (WNAT) is seeking to appoint a dynamic and ambitious Director of Music for Springwood School, who will have additional Trust-wide responsibilities. The post has become available due to the forthcoming retirement of the current Director after a long and distinguished career. WNAT is a well-established MAT consisting of 4 secondary and 7 primary phase schools.

To further cement the Trust’s enviable reputation for the arts, and more specifically music, the Trust have embarked on the process of seeking a highly motivated, committed, and strategic leader in music, who is dedicated to our goal of working collaboratively to deliver results ensuring that all pupils reach their full potential. Through strong leadership and the ability to motivate others, you will harness the key strengths of colleagues, to lead and innovate across the Trust.

The new Director of Music will be based at Springwood School, with strategic leadership of the department, as well as Trust-wide responsibility for music across all phases. The ideal candidate will have experience, or a thorough understanding of, KS5. You will be someone who has expertise across different genres and styles of music, able to adapt your style to the requirements of all age groups.
