We are a highly respected HMC/IAPS co-educational school with 1000+ pupils between the ages of 3 and 18, with 135 boarders in the Senior School. The school is situated on a beautiful green campus of 110 acres in the Shirley Hills, and boasts day and boarding facilities amongst the best in the South of England. ISI has recently judged the school as ‘excellent’ in all areas.    

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Leadership Team of this forward-looking, co-educational school in South London, following the retirement of the previous Director. You will work with the Headmaster, Governors and senior team to lead the strategic financial and operational management of the school, lead and manage the operations and support staff and act as Clerk to the Governors. You will be an effective and influential leader and communicator with strong management skills and significant experience at a senior strategic level in an independent school or commercial organisation. Strong financial experience with the ability to set budgets and develop business plans alongside keen financial acumen is essential together with project management skills and a working knowledge of IT systems, buildings, estates, and regulatory requirements. You should have a dynamic and energetic approach and be enthusiastic about participating in all aspects of the School’s life. On-site accommodation may be available.
