Job overview

After nine years at the helm, our founding Director is retiring in August 2020.    We are now seeking an exceptional candidate to guide the school over coming years, able to start by agreement between April and August next year. 

All applicants must:

• be fluent English speakers;

• be UK qualified teachers;

• have significant senior management experience, either as a school Principal/Director or as Head of Primary/Secondary with responsibility for at least 400 students.

• have a right of residency in the UK/EU.    

The outstanding qualities we are seeking for the post include:

• a strong belief in a child-centred approach to education.

About Cambridge International School (Bratislava)

Cambridge International School (Bratislava) is a mixed, all-through international school catering for students aged from 2-18.

It is located in Central Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, and teaches in English, using native English teachers from the UK and other countries. The school has pupils from more than 20 different countries, and offers classes in maximum class size of 18.

The school curriculum is from the University of Cambridge, drawing on the English National Curriculum. The school teaches the Cambridge IGCSE, AS and A Level for students aged 14 to 18 years old.
