Science at South Hampstead High School

The Sciences are popular at the School. The students enjoy their studies of Science and the Department is thriving yet is ready for the next phase of development.  The girls are rewarding to teach and inquisitive, with a real desire to succeed.  They respect scholarship and a passion for the subject from the teacher.

Opportunities are offered to the students who are encouraged to participate in enrichment courses outside school. The Science department runs a wide range of extra-curricular activities which include Sci Soc and gardening club. The department enters many external competitions including the CREST award and Olympiads.
