Job overview
We are currently seeking an outstanding teacher and proactive leader to take our Science faculty to the next stage of its development. This is an exciting opportunity to join us on our journey at Bloxwich Academy; an oversubscribed and expanding school that has undertaken rapid improvements in recent years, achieving ‘Good’ (Nov 21) and now striving for ‘Outstanding’. Applicants will be able to lead the faculty and teach across all key stages. We are looking for: A talented teacher of Science who has the passion to lead a well-equipped Science faculty.

You must be able to demonstrate:
- A proven track record of raising attainment through their teaching and learning, making a positive impact within and beyond their own classroom.
- In depth subject knowledge of subject specialism.
- A passion to make a difference in pupils’ lives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire pupils and support colleagues.
- A commitment to school improvement.
- An ability to inspire and lead a team.
- Understanding of both GCSE and A level course structures
