Brockenhurst College is seeking a dynamic Director of SEND, Learning Support and Inclusion to join our upper leadership team. As Director, you will provide strategic leadership to the area, ensuring that all students with additional needs, receive the highest quality education, support, and opportunities to thrive. Working closely with curriculum and support teams, you will drive excellence in SEND provision, ensuring students receive the personalised support they need to achieve, and progress.

We welcome applications from experienced professionals with a background in SEND leadership, who are committed to driving innovation and continuous improvement and development, alongside best practices in inclusive education. Above all, we are looking for someone with the vision and dedication to make a real impact, championing an inclusive culture that ensures education is accessible, supportive, and enriching for all.

This is a full time, permanent post. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £57,250 - £60,383 per annum.

As our Director of SEND, Learning Support and Inclusion, you will have:

  • A strong commitment to working with and supporting students with additional and/or complex learning needs.
  • Proven experience of successful curriculum leadership, demonstrating quality improvement and development.
  • Experience of relationship-building and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • A commitment to represent and embed a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion across the work of the College.
  • The ability to lead teams and manage development and change effectively.
  • Evidence of relevant continued professional development and/or training.
  • A creative, innovative, and adaptable approach.
