Amity International school, Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated Director of Sport and Physical Education. This would be a whole school position.

Amity International School is a newly established not-for-profit 3-18 British Curriculum International School with a renowned reputation for Sport, Music, Arts and Academia. The magnificent 15 acre bay-side campus allows the school to boast unique school facilities within a beautiful setting on the perimeter of the UAE's capital, providing an inspirational working environment where pupils are committed and keen to learn. 

The school seeks a highly qualified, passionate, and dynamic leader who is capable of leading our new ambitious programme for sports and PE provision. He or She will be a gifted and experienced teacher, and innovative thinker with excellent people management skills, who will be able to oversee the continued success of the department and lead on a strategic vision for the future of Sport at Amity. 

In October 2019, the school opened its new 50m swimming pool, the only one possessed by any school in the Emirate. This was a the latest edition to an already unique sports proposition that includes a sailing and other water sports academy, tennis courts, 400m athletics track, sports halls, fitness suites, basketball and netball courts, and sprung-floor dance studio. The school's sports provision has gone from strength to strength in recent years and now looks forward to establishing itself as a centre of excellence within the capital in this regard.
