This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the continued development of Sport/PE at The Royal High School Bath.
Sport is a key part of our offer in both the Junior and Senior schools, and the current Director of Sport has had a significant impact over the past 3 years. She is now relocating and taking up a role in another GDST school, but the positive foundations have been laid for the post holder to build on.
The post holder will take responsibility for the leadership and management of Sport/PE across the School, ensuring excellent standards of teaching and coaching are delivered; resources and facilities are deployed efficiently; the profile of sport is raised further and the department plays a central role in the co-curricular offer at the School.
We are continuing to invest in our Sport and PE facilities, with additional courts and a new fitness suite/dance studio planned which will be complete by September 2019, so it will be an excellent opportunity to be at the forefront of these developments.
If you are passionate about sport and have the enthusiasm and energy to challenge our girls and champion the importance of physical fitness we would be delighted to hear from you.
In return, we offer a variety of benefits, such as:
· Competitive salaries and pay progression
· Access to extensive professional development opportunities

· Generous pension schemes
· Free life assurance benefit
· A discount of up to 50% on fees for children at GDST schools
· Childcare vouchers, interest free loans for training, computer purchase loans and travel season ticket loans
· A Cycle to Work scheme
· Competitive terms and conditions of employment
