COVID-19:

Safety measures at St. Paul’s School

The safety of our staff and pupils is a priority at St. Paul’s. We have partnered with a dedicated medical establishment and local public health teams to develop safety measures in school in order to manage potential outbreaks of COVID-19 and help to protect staff and pupils from exposure to infection, keeping the community as safe as possible.

These measures include, but are not limited to: COVID testing available for staff and pupils as required; social distancing procedures in all areas of our facilities; multiple hand sanitizer stations distributed throughout the whole school; routine temperature checks; the use of face masks as mandatory and strict entrance and exit procedures on-site.

In addition, protocols are in place to ensure rapid responses resulting in isolation and medical attention and advice where appropriate, from our medical team for all members of the school community.

As an all-through (ages 3-18) co-educational school, offering the IGCSE and IB courses to pupils, we are affiliated to a global network of top UK Schools through our membership of HMC (Head’s Conference) and COBIS (Council of British International Schools). Almost 100 years old, we draw on our proud heritage as the first British school in Latin America to be recognised as a British School Overseas (BSO) by the UK government. Yet, we look forward with creativity and confidence.

At St. Paul’s we always strive to be our better selves. We have the courage of our convictions, essential values, freedom to imagine and create. This is achieved through our high quality British and Brazilian holistic education which drives the personal and academic development of pupils, within a framework of a caring, inclusive and united community. Our commitment to broad educational experiences opens many opportunities for pupils who go on to leading universities in the United Kingdom, America and Brazil.
