Are you interested in working in a growing education community? Maiden Erlegh Trust is developing our School Improvement Team.
Maiden Erlegh Trust wishes to appoint a Director of Standards and Continuous Improvement (DoSCI). This is a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced senior colleague to work with our CEO and the wider School Improvement Team to support schools and their leaders throughout the organisation.
The successful candidate will ensure the implementation of our Continuous Improvement and Standards Strategies. They will also play a pivotal role in providing advice and support for school leaders, and wider staff, and work with them to ensure that practice is of the highest standard and is consistent across the Trust.
You will be a strong leader with a track record of success at a senior level in a raising standards and/or quality of teaching role in a ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ school. You will be experienced in transformational leadership, designing and delivering strategic policies and strategies to embed best practice, and you will have a commitment to your own profession reading and development. You will also be an excellent classroom practitioner in your own right.
Being an excellent communicator and be able to sustain effective working arrangements with a wide range of senior stakeholders is a prerequisite.

Maiden Erlegh Trust was established in October 2014, when we received approval to open a new free school to serve the needs of students in East Reading. Maiden Erlegh School in Reading opened its doors to students in September 2015.
Since then, we have welcomed Great Hollands Primary School (Bracknell), Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge (Sonning Common), Hamilton School (Reading), Cranbury College (Reading) and River Academy (Reading) into the Trust. We are a growing family of schools and are poised for a most exciting future.
