The Head Master seeks to appoint a new Director of Studies, to start after Easter 2019, following the appointment of the current post-holder as Deputy Head Master.

This role is a major management position – equivalent to Academic Deputy Head – and has as its primary responsibilities:

  • curricular planning;
  • the implementation of academic strategy;
  • the oversight of teaching and learning;
  • advising the Head Master on academic appointments; and
  • co-ordinating the professional development of teaching staff.   

Closing date: Noon, Thursday 15 November 2018.

First-stage assessment: Between Wednesday 21 November and Saturday 1 December 2018.

Second-stage assessment: Before the end of term on Saturday 9 December 2018.
