Prospect House School is an independent prep school in Putney for children aged 3 to 11. We are looking for an outstanding teacher who is able to drive standards, impact teaching and lead different areas throughout the school. The ability to teach English to the highest standard at the top end of the school is essential. It is a given that this teacher can demonstrate success in delivering inspirational, fun and effective teaching to children of all abilities.
The successful candidate will also be able to inspire, enthuse and lead colleagues, whilst showing the ability to deal with difficult issues in a professional manner should they arise. He or she will be well-qualified (with a proven track record), creative and forward thinking, and have a good understanding of how to use data, make decisions and lead staff. The successful candidate will play a key role in the strategic leadership of the school and be a member of the senior leadership team. A knowledge of the 11+ system would also be advantageous. The job is professionally interesting and, in teaching terms, fun.

About Prospect House School
Prospect House School is a non-denominational, non-selective, co-educational, independent day school for children aged 3-11. It is situated in Putney, West London. There are currently 300 pupils at the school.
A member of the Independent Association of Preparatory Schools, Prospect House opened its doors in 1991. It is located on two sites. The Lower School accommodates children aged 3-7. The Upper School is for pupils aged 7-11 and is a five-minute walk away. Both schools are set in large grounds with spacious playgrounds. The Upper School has the additional resource of an all-weather sports area.
