Job overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the achievements of Holyrood Academy through the creation of displays across the Academy. In addition, they will also support the academy in celebratory events organisation.
Hours – 16 hours per week (4 days a week), term time only, plus inset days.
Closing date : 12 noon on Tuesday 20th February 2018
Interview date: week beginning Monday 26th February 2018

About Holyrood Academy
Holyrood Academy is entering a very exciting period of its development. We have recently been awarded National Support School status which will create opportunities for the staff here to work with other schools that find themselves in need of support. We have been ranked by Ofsted as ‘Outstanding’ since 2010.

Holyrood Academy is a co-educational, non-denominational secondary with sixth form in Chard, Somerset. As of the most recent inspection there were 1,229 students on the school roll, of which 146 were studying in the sixth form. The town of Chard has a population of 13,000, and is 15 miles southwest of Yeovil on the A30 road. Holyrood has a reputation for district success in sports, particularly in Rugby and Football.

Holyrood Academy's Music Department has an inspirational extra-curricular programme for students to participate in. As well as the whole school choir, there is also a more specialised Chamber Choir, which together with the Swing Band and Orchestra, the students have entertained parents and the community locally, nationally and internationally on their music tours to destinations such as France, Ireland and The Netherlands.
