Location:       St Robert of Newminster Catholic School & Sixth Form College, Biddick Lane, Washington, Tyne and Wear, NE38 8AF

Grade:           Grade D, SCP 5-7 (£24,790 - £25,584) pro rata

Hours:           37 Hours per Week, Permanent, TTO plus INSET days

We are seeking to appoint a DT Technician to join our Design Technology and Engineering Department. The role of technician forms a central part of the work of the department and the successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support, develop and further extend the work of the department and the experiences of the pupils. 

The successful candidate will have:

·        5 GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent including English and maths;

·        Have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing;

·        Experience of working with children/in an education setting would be preferred;

·        Experience of developing efficient record keeping systems;
