We are seeking to appoint a workshop technician to support the work of the Design Technology department offering both Product Design and Food Technology. The work will involve preparing materials, basic maintenance of facilities, setting up practical work, providing administration support and assisting teachers and students during practical lessons in the workshop and food rooms.

Candidates will need to demonstrate:

  • good practical skills and enthusiasm to learn
  • experience in the use and maintenance of a variety of workshop tools and machinery (Training and support will be available for someone with little experience)
