We are seeking to expand our highly successful EAL team with a part time new member. We work throughout the school to develop and support effective practice for students with EAL. We consistently secure rapid progress from a range of students with EAL, by having high academic expectations, building strong relationships and understanding their own personal development and learning styles. This is supported by EAL Coaches who, through a combination communicative, ICT and 1 – 1 sessions secure excellent outcomes for students with English as an Additional Language. Our team have a range of experience; from people new to the role to people with experience in adult, secondary and primary education. Whatever their experience they have high ambitions for the progress and participation in school life for all students with EAL.

We take staff wellbeing seriously and can offer you many staff benefits including a Friday staff Breakfast (and onsite gym to help work them off!), a positive work atmosphere and a supportive environment to develop. We also pride ourselves on being a team, all staff are involved with supporting our students whilst onsite and we encourage all staff to enjoy the many activities and clubs we have on offer for both staff (Badminton, football and Dungeons & dragons amongst others) and students (DofE, Moseley Plus, Police Cadets amongst others).

If this is you come and join ‘Team Moseley’. The staff at Moseley School and Sixth Form are a passionate team of professionals. Our purpose is to inspire excellence in character and scholarship. The students and their families have bought into this vision. Together we form a friendly and dedicated community.

We want staff and students to work in an  emotionally intelligent school where we acknowledge the fallibility of  human beings and recognise the impact our actions and words have on  others.

Our pastoral system ensures that each student is cared for and  their needs are met through effective partnerships with all our  stakeholders, especially parents and carers. All students have  opportunities to broaden their social and cultural horizons. The school  provides a clear moral framework based on shared values in which the  students feel safe and can flourish. Students are encouraged to reflect  on their own beliefs, appreciate different views and develop  understanding of their own identity and their own self-worth. Moseley School and Sixth Form is a place where staff and students are  aware of how personal and political decisions affect the future of the  environment and of their responsibility to help to sustain our planet.

We are a caring community where positive personal relationships have a  civilising influence. We recognise the potential in everyone and we  support and challenge everyone to achieve their potential.
