The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys provides a high-quality American curriculum education to 1,300 students aged 4 to 18, delivered by inspirational teachers, ensuring that all our students are able to make the most of their talents and abilities. Since its opening in 2015, SZPAB has established a reputation across the UAE for its innovative use of technology, which was highlighted in the ADEK (Ofsted equivalent) inspection report as an “Area of Distinction” in the UAE. In 2018 it became the first K-12 school in the UAE to achieve “Apple Distinguished School” status. This was renewed in October 2021.

We invite applications from inspirational EAL teachers to join our dedicated and talented teaching faculty. The successful candidate will work both with students to develop language proficiency and with teaching colleagues to build capacity in their own inclusive practice. Exceptional CPD opportunities are available to all teachers including the NPQML, NPQSL and NPQH.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English or Language Arts
- PGCE or equivalent qualification (e.g., Masters (TESOL)) in Education
- Additional CELTA qualification advantageous
- A minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check
