EAL Teacher

The Fuyuan Oratory School (formerly the Fuyuan British American School) is a new, collaborative venture between the Shenzhen Fuyuan School, China and The Oratory School, UK. The school runs both British and American curriculums and is looking to recruit EAL teachers for September, 2019. Teachers will be involved in delivering and assisting with the delivery of the secondary curriculum including ESOL IGCSE curriculum and preparing Sixth Form pupils for IELTS and TOEFL exams. Appointments will be made by The Oratory School, UK. For UK based applicants the application process will involve a visit to The Oratory, including the delivery of an observed lesson and an interview. For applicants already abroad the process will be completed via Skype.

The Fuyuan Oratory School is one of very few privately owned independent schools in China. There are currently in excess of 300 pupils in the school and class sizes do not exceed 25. The collaborative venture with The Oratory School, UK is an exciting new development and both pupils and teachers will have future opportunities to enhance their development through exchanges between the schools, as well as through a collaborative development of curriculum.
