Early Childhood Educator

An exciting and rewarding opportunity exists for an experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team and further enhance it as a place of excellence in teaching and learning, where relationships and partnerships are nurtured and respected, and where children develop a strong sense of identity within a safe and supportive environment.

This is a full-time position which involves working with 30 children from ages 2-5 years. The Pre-school is open from the hours of 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, and provides preschool teaching and learning. The appointment of a successful applicant will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with VCA policy.

The Pre-school is located in the beautiful seaside township of St Heliers, Auckland. It successfully aims to prepare students to be positive contributors to society through providing an excellent transition to school education for each student.

About the Role:

• Permanent; full time position
• Commencing January 2019 
• Candidates must be qualified in Early Childhood Education, experience will be highly regarded
• 40 hour per week role with flexible start/finish times

About You:

• Possess current references
• Have the right to work in New Zealand
• Hold an Early Childhood teaching qualification recognised in New Zealand
• Be registered, or have the ability to be registered with NZTC
