The British School Yangon is a Nord Anglia Education School and is also a member of the prestigious Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA). It is an all-through school, educating EYFS, Primary and Secondary children. We have wonderful students and a very vibrant international community.

In our Early Years and KS1 settings, we work with children from the ages of 2 to 7 years, who hail from all over the world. As a result of the continued expansion and growth of the school, we are now seeking to add an outstanding teacher to our team.

EYFS / Key Stage One Teacher,  January 2020 

Are you an experienced, enthusiastic and ambitious Early Years / Key Stage One teacher, looking to join an exciting and vibrant teaching community?   The British School Yangon is looking to recruit a flexible, caring, well-qualified specialist to join our team.

The candidate we are seeking needs in-depth knowledge and rich experience of both the EYFS and Primary Curriculum (English National Curriculum) and of utilizing the Development Matters documentation. You must have a desire and passion for working in an outstanding international learning environment and the ability to both plans in the moment to maximize progress and deliver engaging age-appropriate teacher-led sessions, in order to ensure that all children reach their potential.

Expertise in supporting children with EAL to meet the expectations of the curriculum is also a must for meeting the needs of our cohort. Your application should, therefore, demonstrate your experience of working with children whose first language is not English.
