An Exciting Opportunity to Join a Dynamic New Team!

We are seeking to appoint a work based assessor for our Childcare and Health and Social Care courses. The post holder will plan and carry out observations and assessments of competency against nationally recognised standards, supporting students to successfully complete their course and reach their potential. The successful candidate will have a nationally recognised child related qualification at Level 3 or above, including a license to practice, and will have relevant vocational experience. The suitable post holder will be expected to drive to a variety of providers within the district and beyond if required, so a full, valid driver’s licence is required.

New College Bradford is a 16-19 free school which opened in September 2019, initially with 550 students, rising to 1200 by September 2021. The college sits within the New Collaborative Learning Trust, a multi-academy trust established by New College Pontefract (an Ofsted outstanding provider). New College Pontefract, New College Doncaster and New College Bradford work closely together, presenting exciting opportunities for collaboration, support, development and progression. We believe that students at New College Bradford should enjoy high-quality teaching and learning underpinned by a culture of high expectations, challenge and support, both for students and staff, which will enable young people in Bradford to secure high-quality qualifications to support them into employment, training and higher education.
