Job overview

Early Years Teacher (with the possibility of a TLR for the right candidate)

An opportunity has arisen in our Nursery within our excellent mainstream primary school on a fixed term basis to cover Maternity Leave, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent. We are seeking passionate, creative and inspirational teachers for our experienced and welcoming team at Lime Academy Abbotsmede.

‘Lime Academy Abbotsmede is a place where everyone is welcome and every step to success is celebrated.’

Ofsted 2022

With our EYFS setting recently being recognised as Good by Ofsted and a strength in our school, we are now striving for Outstanding practice.

The successful applicant would be a key part of this exciting journey and be provided with a programme of high-quality professional development to strengthen their skillset along the way, as well as access to a supportive Trust Hub of information, research, resources and professional discussion with other EYFS practitioners across our range of Primary and Special schools. Our EYFS classes operate as an integral part of our schools and staff and pupils engaged in whole school daily life. Within our learning environments, we offer a friendly and vibrant place to work, with Forest Schools and outdoor learning a key feature of our inspiring curriculum offer.

We are constantly on the lookout for outstanding practitioners and we may have TLR’s for candidates dependent upon your area of expertise. What unique skills and expertise could you offer our amazing students?

Although we are predominately recruiting to our Early Years team, there is a possibility that roles in other year groups may be available if a candidate is best suited to a different Key Stage.
