Early Years Co-ordinator

Greenfield Community School is a four programme International Baccalaureate World School. Situated in the Green Community in Dubai. The school has an enrolment of 1300 students from KG to Grade 12. Greenfield Community School is a culturally diverse school with over 80 nationalities, with English as our language of instruction. GCS seeks an outstanding and inspirational educator to join the Primary Team as the Early Years Coordinator. The Primary School is for students aged 4 to 11, with the Early years section, KG 1 and 2, seeing an enrolment of 160 students. We have a reputation as an inclusive and very caring school and external reports from the Dubai school inspectors consistently highlight the excellent behaviour of our students.

This role will allow the post holder to play a key role in the further development of the Early Years section and the wider primary school. They will have direct responsibility for a team of 14 teachers and learning assistants. The school’s strategic plan highlights assessment and recording, play-based learning and further development of continuous provision for students amongst the objectives. The successful applicant will be able to drive these exciting projects and make a real impact on student learning.

As well as having specific responsibilities, all leaders across the entire school are expected to play a key role in all areas. They are role models for students and colleagues in all they do and are expected to play their part in the strategic leadership of all areas. This will include both developing colleagues as educators and working with the rest of the team to promote learning and progress.

What do we look for?

Due to KHDA regulations, we require our teachers to have one of the following:

• Bachelors of Education or PGCE and a relevant degree
