Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary academy in the Ashington area of Northumberland.
The school is a large, innovative academy but offers a real sense of community amongst the staff, pupils and parents.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have excellent knowledge of working with children in EYFS, and ideally will have worked on a one to one and small group basis in this year group. Additional experience of supporting children with special educational needs would be highly advantageous.
The full-time role offers an immediate start date and will continue until the end of the academic year in July 2018.
To be considered for the position of EYFS Teaching Assistant you must:
- Have experience supporting children in primary education in EYFS
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare or above
- Experience of supporting SEND pupils is highly desirable
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Primary School Staff
- Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
