Job overview

This is a once in a career opportunity to help shape and build Ribblesdale’s new primary provision. The school will become a 4-16 all-through school in September 2023 and is seeking an experienced, highly skilled and knowledgeable EYFS teacher / leader to help us on this journey. The primary provision will be based on a separate site to the main school in a brand-new, purpose-built facility on the Standen Estate. The provision will be for a one form entry and its roll will increase incrementally beginning with an early years foundation stage reception class in September 2023.

We are seeking an experienced EYFS teacher to support us in delivering the very best education for our youngest pupils. The successful applicant will join us a full two terms before our first reception class to afford time for the effective planning and resourcing of an outstanding educational experience for our children. We believe wholeheartedly in the philosophy of all-through schools and the successful candidate will be expected to have the confidence and expertise to shape our EYFS provision, working with our Primary Phase Lead to promote the vision for and understanding of the Early Years curriculum in other colleagues across the school. Experience of training other colleagues and of collaborative working will therefore be an advantage.
