The role

Smart Teachers is recruiting for an Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher to join a popular school in a brilliant central London location.  The school has recently welcomed a new Headteacher and Deputy headteacher who bring with them a great style of leadership and colourful vision for the future of the school. The successful candidate will be responsible for a Reception class of 25 children, along with 5 nursery children too. Working alongside a very experienced partner, the classrooms are open plan in nature, encouraging free flow between the two rooms. The EYFS are currently looking at developing the outside space to be able to incorporate outdoor learning into the curriculum and would be very keen to hear from candidates with knowledge of this.


The school

A centrally located, average sized 2 form entry school within walking distance of London Victoria. The school was last inspected in November 2019 and remains an ‘outstanding’ school. Children hail from a variety of backgrounds, with approximately 50% of its children recognised as EAL at its last count. 

Requirements

To be considered for the Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher position, you will:

• Hold QTS

• Have a specialism in the delivery of the EYFS
