About the School

Following our recent good Ofsted report the Governors would like to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and dynamic teacher and to lead our experienced, committed Early Years Team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record as an experienced Early Years Practitioner and have the ability to plan and share ideas within a team. Knowledge of working within a child centred curriculum informed by pupils interest would be advantageous. EYFS at Gwladys Street is well resourced and supported.

Applicants must demonstrate success in, and be committed to, raising standards through excellent teaching and learning, which engages, motivates and challenges all pupils. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate how they make effective use of assessments to ensure progress and achievement for all children.

Personal Qualities

Applicants must be able to teach to a high standard in both FS1 and FS2.

Closing date Wednesday 26 September 2018 at 4.00pm. The interview process will include a teaching observation on a date to be arranged during week beginning Monday 8 October and interviews will take place week beginning Monday 15 October.

All applications should include a supporting letter, no more than two sides of A4, font sized 12, to the Headteacher Miss Nicola Booth. All on-line applications and supporting letters must be followed up by signed paper copies to be posted to the School. If you have not been contacted by 15 October 2018, please assume that your application has not been successful on this occasion.
