Smart Teachers is recruiting for a qualified and experienced Early Years Practitioner / EY TA to work in an Outstanding independent prep school for the summer term.  The school is located in central London in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The setting is very well resourced and the school team are very friendly and welcoming.  The role will involve working in a new setting for 2-3 year old children. The post will be part time, 8am – 1.30pm Monday to Friday. The Early Years Practitioner / EY TA contract will commence in April 2019 on a fixed term until July 2019 in the first instance. The will be the possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate. The successful Early Years Practitioner / EY TA will be experienced working within the Early Years curriculum and hold a minimum Level 3 in Early Childhood or equivalent qualification.

In order to be considered for this role, the Early Years Practitioner / EY TA will need to meet the following criteria:

• Hold a minimum Level 3 in Early Childhood or equivalent qualifications

• Proven experience teaching the UK Early Years, or an equivalent, curriculum

• NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers are welcome to apply

• Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
