An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Children’s Centre at Granard Primary School in Putney.  We have a friendly, supportive team of staff and wonderful community spirit that celebrates our diverse population.  We are looking to appoint an Early Years Practitioner, with at least 1 years’ experience, who would enjoy the challenge of working at our Children’s Centre to provide high quality care and support to children aged 0-5 years and their families.   

We offer a wide range of sessions and services including come and play, parenting courses, adult learning, one to one support and health advice.  This position would ideally suit an energetic, resilient individual who has a passion for working with young children.  You will need to be proactive and creative in supporting and engaging the children.   A working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage is essential, with a can do and enthusiastic attitude.    

Experience of planning, observing and recording children’s achievements, proven skills in positive behaviour management and working in partnership with parents is a necessity.  

The Children’s Centre is open from Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 4.30 p.m., for 48 weeks of the year.

The right candidate must have excellent spoken and written English.  English and Maths GCSE grade A*-C, or equivalent, essential. Candidates selected for interview must bring evidence of their qualifications with them.
