We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Early Years teacher to Huili Nursery Shanghai .  We have fourteen classes, located in our new nursery building, which opened in August 2018.  The nursery is situated next to Wellington College Shanghai Early Years Centre and is close to Huili School Shanghai and Wellington College International Shanghai campus. 

The nursery is a great facility providing purpose-designed learning and play spaces for 300 2 to 6 year old pupils. The bilingual nursery has developed an exceptional reputation since opening in 2016, as has Huili School which opened in 2018.  Demand for places is high and our admission has elements of selection.

We are looking for a specialist, qualified teacher of nursery and reception pupils.  Experience in international settings is welcome, and so is experience in multi-lingual environments, and in the UK state or private sectors. Most of our pupils are Chinese and we help them develop fluency in English by the time they progress to Huili School Shanghai at age 6.  Every class has an English-speaking teacher and a Chinese teacher.

Huili Nursery Shanghai  opened in 2016 to provide early years education for local and international children.  It combines the very best of the British approach to education, as exemplified by Wellington College, with the strengths of Chinese education. We want our pupils to progress to Huili School Shanghai and to develop a love of learning, a pride in their Chinese culture and the skills and talents to succeed in a global future.  In August 2018, we moved into a new, purpose-built, impressive school campus, which is easily accessible to most of Shanghai.
