The Royal Grammar School Guildford Qatar (RGSGQ) has a thriving three to four-form entry primary school with approximately 570 pupils. Within our Primary phase, we have a vibrant Early Years setting, with two to three form entry classes in both EY1 and EY2.
Our Early Years curriculum follows the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and reflects the Every Child Matters ethos, ensuring that children feel safe, supported, and inspired within a nurturing learning environment.
Our provision promotes curiosity, creativity, and independence through a balanced approach of child-initiated learning and purposeful adult-led teaching. We provide a nurturing & stimulating environment where young learners are encouraged to explore, develop confidence, and build strong foundations for future learning.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking to appoint outstanding Early Years Teachers to join our team. We are looking for enthusiastic and reflective educators who can build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, and who are committed to delivering high-quality early years education.

The RGS Guildford Qatar has developed a strong partnership with RGS Guildford in the UK, which is a prestigious UK independent school with a tradition and rich history for providing outstanding education. We also have strong links with our international sister schools throughout the world.
The RGS Guildford, Qatar is an all-through British school offering a co-educational British curriculum for children aged 3 to 18. The school opened in September 2016 and now welcomes over 785 students to its campus which is just 20 minutes from the Pearl and the new Lusail city. Students follow the English Early Years Foundation Stage, the National Curriculum at Key Stages 1, 2, 3 and at Key Stage 4 a comprehensive range of IGCSE courses. At post-16 the school offers a range of AS levels. The school has a reputation for high quality teaching and learning and has a range of excellent sports facilities which include an astro turf, sports hall and an open-air swimming pool.

Successful applicants must have:
· A certified teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent (the PGCE must be accompanied by a subject relevant bachelor’s degree)
· Experience of teaching the British National Curriculum
· QTS is desirable
· ECTs can apply
· The ability to work well in a team
· A hard working and highly motivated work ethic
· A proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning
· A willingness to take part in extra-curricular activities after school
