We are now looking for an experienced and highly motivated Early Years Teacher (EYFS Teacher) to join us at our Flagship Nursery and Pre-School in Fulham, working (37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday). In this role you will ensure high quality teaching and learning and excellent levels of student progress. You will have experience of establishing successful learning relationships with a variety of children.

About the Nursery

Treetops Fulham nursery provides a unique nursery experience. Our beautiful nursery combines wide open light and engaging spaces with homely rooms such as our home-from-home baby room. Fulham also enjoys a beautiful large garden providing easy access to the outdoor environment all year round and we’re really proud of our outdoor mud kitchen! If that wasn’t enough, we also have our own dedicated dance studio where our children enjoy ballet and tap dancing lessons, along with physical activity on a weekly basis.

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

Based at our unique flagship nursery in London’s upscale Fulham as an Early Years Teacher you will deliver an educational programme that allows us to maximise the potential of every child.

You will develop and implement work schemes and lesson plans in line with the requirements of the Early Years Foundation stage curriculum (EYFS). You will take the lead in organising and developing the nursery learning environments and resources in order to facilitate the learning process. You will establish relationships with the children to facilitate their learning and develop and maintain relationships with parents/guardians to further support the children. You will also be responsible for ensuring that records of progress are maintained.

You will gain local knowledge of the schools that the nursery feeds into and support an external advisor on sharing local educational options and entry procedures with parents. You will support parent seminars where our adviser will discuss with parents school options available to them and the best way to maximise their child’s chance of entry to a preferred school.

 You need:

• Qualified Early Years Teacher (EYT) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for Early Years Foundation stage
• Experience of Teaching EYFS at private day nursery/pre-school within the UK
• Being passionate about preschool education
