Vision for Education are in the process of recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with experience of working with children with EBD and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties) to work in a Secondary Alternative Provision within the Stockport LEA.

An ability to build rapport with young people quickly, and then utilise positive relationships to help children to engage in subject material is essential.

The Alternative Provision offers an integrated service to pupils who are currently going through an evaluation process. The conclusion of which, will decide whether they are to be re-established within mainstream education, or moved on to a permanent centre that is more appropriate to help support their IBP/IEP.

You will be considerate, patient and must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability. A passion for working with children is also a necessity.

Successful candidates must be enthusiastic, committed and have a passion for teaching children of secondary school age.

As well as being part of this schools community, working with Vision For Education gives you access to:

Industry leading CPD e.g. Mental Health Awareness training; SEN in the Mainstream; Team Teach and more
