Economics and Business Studies Teacher

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher of Economics and Business Studies who has a passion for Economics, high expectation of students and who will motivate and inspire pupils to develop strong academic knowledge and skills.
The Latymer School is an oversubscribed high achieving, but caring grammar school in North London. Visitors comment on the warm atmosphere and the high level of participation in extra-curricular activities that encourage students to foster and nurture their skills and interests beyond the confines of the curriculum. The Economics and Business Studies Department is a thriving and well organised department that is impressively resourced to provide a supportive working atmosphere for staff. Economics is a popular subject at A Level and students continue to excel with 67% achieving A*/A and many go on to study Economics-related subjects at university. The department has a consistent record of excellent results with 68% of pupils gaining A/A* in GCSE Business Studies.
