Fine Arts College, an independent school and sixth form college in Belsize Park, London, seeks a full-time A Level Economics Teacher starting in September 2019.

We are rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and pride ourselves on having a caring, encouraging ethos. At A level we specialise in arts, humanities and social science subjects. Our lessons challenge the students to engage in discussion and debate so that, far from being simply ‘taught’, students become inquiring critical thinkers and independent learners. We want to inspire a passion for learning that will last a lifetime and continue to enrich beyond formal exams. 

We currently have 200 students in the college from year 9 to 6th form who are taught in small groups of around 10. The groups are mixed ability but include very able students who are aiming to study Economics and/or Business Studies at top universities.

Applications are invited from teachers with a minimum of a degree in Economics. It is possible to combine the job with that of A level Business Studies tutor to become a full-time role. Pay will be according to experience.
