The school is an international co-educational boarding school for 11-18 year olds located in the Swiss Alps. The school provides a stimulating academic education which is combined with an active outdoors education. Educational programmes are offered in both English and French, with the IGCSE and IB programmes within the International Section and the French Brevet and Baccalaureate programme within the French Section. The student body is currently 240.

Economics

IB Economics is a popular subject taught to students in grade 11 and grade 12.

The course is taught both at Standard- and Higher-level. The students have a good understanding of the business world and the connection of it to economics. This allows for interesting class discussions and real world examples to enhance their learning.  As many of the students desire to study the subject in tertiary education they are eager to learn and aim high.

Experience/Education:

  • A strong Honours Degree in a relevant subject
  • Qualified Teacher Status

  • Understanding of IB curriculum, requirements of the subject at every level
