Swindon Borough Council’s Children’s Services is looking to recruit a high quality school improvement professional to enhance the work of the education service to improve attainment and pupil progress and to provide support and advice to all schools on special educational needs.

Swindon is a very exciting place to work. It is a fast expanding town with educational achievement being one of the key drivers at the heart of the council’s strategy moving forward to 2030. Much of our provision for special educational needs is of very high quality.

You would join a dynamic team of education professionals who want the best for our children and young people. Working relationships with maintained schools and academies are strong and a partnership approach through the Swindon Challenge Board and through the headteacher associations is making a considerable difference.
