Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an experienced senior education leader to provide principled and dynamic leadership as part of a wider team of Education Directors at Bourne Education Trust.  

Reporting to the Chief Education Officer, Education Directors are accountable for the delivery of exceptional education, with individual accountability for a cluster (or clusters) of schools, ensuring that all education objectives are being effectively met and building a culture of collaborative learning across the Trust.

Our Education Directors will help shape the Trust’s future strategic education vision, be able to drive its implementation and be proactive in addressing our priorities. The successful candidate must therefore have a proven track record of leadership and impact across a number of schools and contexts, a deep understanding of effective school improvement processes and a genuine desire to make a difference.

In making this appointment we are looking for an inspirational and visionary leader who will empower our school leaders, is openly passionate about the power of education to transform the lives of children and young people and invest in the next stage of our trust’s development.
