Education Officer 

In this key role you will be responsible for a vibrant learning programme, centred on Eton’s College Collections and its historic Foundation buildings, to engage both external and internal school and school-age audiences. Working in close consultation with the Collections staff and the school’s Director of Outreach & Partnership, you will provide enriching educational experiences for local and national primary-aged children, and for secondary-aged children from partner schools. 

This new role would suit an ambitious individual with an entrepreneurial attitude and a track record of working successfully with children. You will have experience of working with heritage collections, museums or similar, and a teaching qualification is desirable. 

This is a full-time (35 hours per week) position, working 39 weeks per year to coincide with state school term dates, to begin September 2018.

Its partnership with Holyport College, an Ofsted outstanding state-maintained boarding school, is one of the strongest, closest and most reciprocal cross-sector partnerships in the UK. Amongst other partnerships, Eton College also co-sponsors the London Academy of Excellence, an outstanding sixth form in Newham, East London.
