Smart Teachers is always on the prowl for experienced Education Recruitment Consultants to join its London headquarters. We currently have positions open in our Primary, Secondary and SEN divisions, with the opportunity for consultants with strong industry experience to take on a hot/warm desk.

Consultants must be confident in self-management, capable of developing their own business, and able to work as part of a team.

About the Role:

  • Education Recruitment Consultant - Primary, Secondary or SEN division
  • Our competitive salary scale rewards the days that you are billing with a basic salary from £27,500, plus commission
  • £5K and £10K bonuses paid for reaching achievable milestones by the six and twelve month mark

  • Rotating weekly shifts:      7.00am-4.00pm and 9:30am-6:30pm
  • Reduced hours during school holidays
  • 25 days annual leave, with extra days granted with each year of service

  • An experienced compliance team that works independently from consultants and candidates to ensure safeguarding checks are carried out impartially and in complete confidence

In return, we are seeking Education Recruitment Consultants who can demonstrate:

  • Initiative, professionalism and the sales skills to open new doors and earn the trust of schools
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage existing client and candidate relationships
  • A good judgement of character and ability to connect teachers with schools
  • Independence, organisation, efficiency, and the ability to self-manage and reach set targets
  • A confident telephone manner
  • A sound level of IT knowledge
  • A great sense of humour and team spirit
