Harlington Area Schools Trust (HAST) are seeking an enthusiastic and committed person to join a team of skilled Educational Communicators and Teachers of the Deaf supporting hearing impaired students in the Hearing Impaired Resource Provision for Central Bedfordshire. The post will be based at one or more of the provision schools, supporting learners with a hearing impairment, enabling access to the curriculum and facilitating inclusion using strategies appropriate to the individual pupils.  Sign language skills at a minimum Level 2 and minimum GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) English and Maths are an essential requirement, as is a clean driving licence.  Experience of working with hearing impaired students is desirable.  This post is for up to 27.5 hours a week term time only, and could be a job share.
