Northern Saints Catholic Education Trust was established on 1 February 2016 with one academy, St. Wilfrid’s RC College which is outstanding.  The Trust is in an exciting stage of growth with St Joseph’s Catholic Academy, Hebburn, St Mary’s RC Primary School, Jarrow and Our Lady of the Rosary, Peterlee due to join the Trust.  This post will also work with our partner school St. Bede’s Catholic Comprehensive School, Peterlee.  

We are looking for an exceptional candidate with experience of working with young people with a range of special educational needs and disabilities and to be able to undertake psychological assessments and interventions in all of our schools and phases.

You will work closely with the Trust Director of SEND, Headteachers and school based SEND Co- ordinators promoting the emotional and social wellbeing of our young people from 2 – 18 years.

The post is subject to registration as a qualified Educational Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council.  The successful candidate must be able to meet the travel requirements of the post.
