Our 11-16 school is multi-cultural and located close to the town centre, within easy access of the motorway network. Our work is focused on developing the unique potential of every individual whilst working towards becoming an outstanding educational organisation. We are part of the Batley Multi Academy Trust, whose sole purpose is to provide an outstanding education through our family of schools. Batley Multi Academy Trust currently comprises Batley Girls’ High School and Upper Batley High School.

 Upper Batley High School is seeking to employ one permanent and one temporary (for 12 months) Educational Teaching Assistant to join our existing team for 30 hours per week over 5 days. The successful candidates will be required to work as part of a friendly team including teachers and other associate staff to support the learning and welfare of all learners.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be involved in assisting teachers in the whole planning cycle and the management/prevention of resources
  • Provide practical support for learning, educational activities, developing social skills and integration
  • Have a strong ethos of effective team working
