Location: Thames view Junior School, Barking

Hours: 8:45am-3:30pm Monday-Friday, with 45-minute lunch break. 30 Hours per week, Term time.

Salary: Grade 4 FTE- £23,400 Actual Salary Pro Rota; £17,014

Thames View Junior School is looking for an enthusiastic, caring and efficient person to join our highly successful Administration Team. The Administrator supports the smooth running of the school. They report to the School Business Manager and the Headteacher but are part of a team, whose staff is all of equal value in working to involve all pupils positively in the life of the school to achieve their targets.

The person appointed will be responsible for work in the areas outlined below:

• Process orders using school finance software; PS Financials.

• Inputting invoices using our finance software.

• Input and extraction of data within SIMS

• When required cover front reception acting as first point of contact in School Reception operating a VoIP telephone system for both incoming and outgoing calls.

• Assist parents with enquiries on Select and Parentmail i.e. producing letters issuing passwords and password resetting.

• Making sure oyster cards are in credit for any school trips

• Liaising with travel companies and creating trip itineraries

• General photocopying as required.

• Booking events and transport through the relevant companies and agencies

• General filing
