Job overview
The post holder will be primarily responsible for overseeing EHCPs and ensuring that WKC meets its statutory obligations under the Children and Families Act 2015 by taking responsibility for managing the arrangements for Post 16 and Post 22-25 transition for students with Education, Health and Care plans. The successful candidate will co-ordinate annual reviews for EHCP learners and will build effective relationships with parents to ensure positive solutions to meet learning needs.
You will experience of working with learners with SEN coupled with experience of preparing evidence for any Local Authority SEN Tribunal cases. You will have experience of managing arrangements for Post 16 and Post 22-5 transition for students with Education, Health and Care plans. Having an understanding of the challenges facing young people with SEN in an inner city setting is essential. You will also have good administrative and analytical skills, be proactive in maintaining full and accurate records of various types, and contribute actively to the process of continuous quality improvement.

Westminster Kingsway College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational further education college in the London Borough of Camden and the London Borough of Westminster, serving pupils from the age of 16 and above. The college has approximately 14,000 students on record every year.
Westminster Kingsway College was founded in 2000 after the amalgamation of Westminster College and Kingsway College. It has learning centres across London in King’s Cross, Regents Park, Camden, Victoria and Soho. It offers students a number of full and part time courses including A levels and vocational courses at Level 1, 2, and 3. The college provides training on behalf of a range of organisations, including South Bank University, Compass Limited, Travelodge, The British Council and Ministry of Defence.
